I dropped my GSA last month at about 15mph and bent the RHS engine bar back right to the cylinder. The LHS is already closer and would def have bashed into the mag alloy rocker cover if it had gone down the other way.
When they are straightened, I'm considering having the lower ends of my crash bars cut back and buying solid head cover protectors from Wunderlich. I dont plan on dropping it again, but they are built to be used with a removable bash plate. The butch looking Touratech covers (which I have) just folded back. Some new lower crash bars will easily put it back to standard if needs ever be.
