After many positive comments I started looking for some K60s. Except few 140/80/17 sellers, I found one (http://motorcycleproducts.co.uk/catalogue/tyres-tubes-c-331.html) which offers 150/70/17. However, I wasn't very convinced as he couldn't explain the difference between 150/70B/17 under the BMW tyre section and 150/70TB/17 in Heidenau section. What is the difference in real life between 140 and 150?
I also found this kit (http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/BMW-F800GS-08...52?pt=UK_Motorcycle_Parts&hash=item27b5b77480). These sprockets are JTs.
Has anybody got experiences with this?
Thanks a lot for your help.

K60

Please could someone answer this thread i am also in need of tyres and wanted either the K60 scout or the kenda K784 but cant find a uk dealer for either tyre !!! HELP:blast

about 5mm either side of the tyre as for the B bit sounds like a load of bull :D

Why would you fit the wrong sized tyre? Go for the correct 150 section - I had them on mine for 7000 miles and loved them - only switched to Trail Attacks as I am doing 100% commuting right now. The K60 are in the shed to go back on if I get time to head off road...

Dave Ett ,was asking in this thread as 150s were discontinued for some time and as far as I know guys from the US were using 140s instead.Considering anyway going for size 140 for two reasons.First the main one is that seller didnt convinced me with his poor knowledge(how the hell can you sell a product not knowing what you're actually selling plus mess on his website).Second one is the price.140 is £40 cheaper.

Ah ok. I doubt very much if those extra 10mm will make £40 of difference, so providing it doesn't mean your insurance company can wriggle out of a claim, them go for it...

I'm using a 140/80 heidenau K60 Scoutwith no problems! Used them both on road and off road and can't see myself fitting anything else in the near future

a 140/80 is designed to work on the same size rim as a 150/70,

Rang my insurer yesterday and asked if I could use 140 rear. They've checked and said no problem. So ordered new shiny set of Heidis today :JB.

bulb 1970 you can find K60 on pneus online or moto-tyres uk websites. Both got them in stock.

You won't regret it! I have about 5K on my Hedis now and they are better than the Battlewings in almost every way - on and off road. The big test will be durability - I got 16K out of my wings (front & rear) so the K60s have big shoes to fill :)

I find the Battlewings completely usdeless off road, and not the best on it. Can only assume off-road use is planned hence the K60. If not, then why fit them? Far better off with the Trail Attack.
