Does anyone know anywhere that stocks Held Bike Gear?

I know Crossans down the road from here has some but its only a couple of sets, one textile and one leather.

Did you try Modulemoto ?

:aidan

Thanks Mandy, took a look there, they have a few of the cheaper jackets around £150 but I've half a dozen jackets like that, decided to get myself a better one than the ones I have now, one that will maybe keep me warm and fit properly.

Trying to find stuff that fits right is a nightmare and you know me, I hate all that girly looking stuff, so plain black if I can get it.

Maybe I could ask Crossans to get some stuff in that I can try on

I bought my last jacket in Module in 2008, a great deal in the sale, and still keeping the water out and the heat in :thumb I bought my trousers in Germany from Louis, great gear and price range. I know you would like to try on but have a look at their online store louis.de. Their sizes are spot on :thumb
I'm on the look out for a textile one piece :D

You give jean a call at held direct she will tell you who stocks what. She's a very nice lady:thumb2 they are sponsoring Ross this year and so far have been very helpful.

Will take a look. I like the Held stuff but as usual I prefer the mens, normally fits me better anyway, at least they do the longer leg length.

Thanks, I'll give her a call too. For about a year now Held have had on their website that you'd be able to buy direct from them but they haven't done anything about it yet, but it would be good since they have everything to choose from.

Held gear is excellent. Did you know that Held means Hero in German. I learned this in Germany while buying my second last GS.:thumb2

Got my new gear today, I'm like a child at christmas :bounce1:bounce1:bounce1

Held Gore-Tex Jacket, trousers and Arctic gloves all for £600, bloody bargain :thumb

Crossans didn't have the stuff I wanted especially the trousers, me being a bit lanky on it and also having a fetish for lots of pockets :D, so I picked some stuff from the catalogue which they kindly got in for me... excellent job! :JB

Seriously though, the jacket has six pockets and the trousers have eight, every time I found another one it was like finding one more of my favourite sweeties in the tin :D

No more getting cold and soaked for me :clap

Looking forward to seeing it, especially the gloves. I hate cold hands.:beerjug:

Damien the gloves even have the little wiper on the finger and so many other little things, they really do put a lot of thought into their gear :)

The gear got a good test today, got caught out in the driving snow, I could have cried my fingers were nipping with the cold, I could barely even feel the heat of the heated grips so I don't know if I can blame the gloves or I was just expecting miracles. The jacket and trousers were fantastic, for someone who can shiver sitting next to a roaring fire, I actually felt warm under the jacket and comfortable under the trousers. Well worth it definitely or I think I'd be lying in a block of ice somewhere :thumb2
