had a bit'a free time today,so orf I go for a ride on my trusty GS. and I thought I would do a bit'a test'in,you know, the old mpg. thing,well, I got 42mpg. with no top box,no panniers,so I then had a go with the panniers on,top box on,still got 42 so sod this I thought,took the left hand side one off,now I was getting 46,so put that back on, then took the right hand one off,left the other one on,and wa'hay....hitting near on 50mpg.
Anyway, ta'morra,I'm gorn'a try with the panniers on,BUT, take the lids off.
How many mpg do'ya think I ort'a git then.....

Mine says that when I go on a run with Fruitcake on her 650 I get around 51-53 mpg.

When I take myself on a run I get around 43- 46 mpg.

Both with panniers on- including lids.
