three hours riding around the pyrenees last saturday night even with H1 bulbs has taught me two things:

1 adrenaline is brown - no question
2 I need one of those kit things soon

let us know how your doing Rob, please.

cheers

Hoorah!! Hella lamps landed today only FF50 fog and driving though. I had wanted a batch of FF75s as well but Hella quoted a delivery date of early May for these so I'm just going to have to go with the FF50s for the time being.

New prices are:

1/ FF50 driving lamp kit - This includes the FF50 driving lamps, Migsels Light bar, Motoswitch 2, wiring harness and every thing needed to complete the install right down to the cable ties and instructions - £135 includes delivery in the UK.

2/ FF 50 Fog lamp kit - as above but with a set of FF50 fog lamps instead of the driving lamps - £140 including delivery in the UK

3/ Combined lighting setup - A pair of FF50 Fogs Lamps and a pair of FF50 driving lamps with additional relay to allow changeover of the Fog and driving lamps when main beam is operated, the Motoswitch switches the auxillary lamps off or on. this includes a larger harness to control the extra pair of lamps and the changeover relay - £193 including delivery in the UK

If you want to collect the packages a saving of £10 on each kit can be made.

I will be offering some other options soon. If you want to buy the items individually. the Motoswitch units are here http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6373

Migsels bars are here mailto:[email protected]

Hella lights, bulbs etc are here http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=19581

Unfortunatly I cannot offer a fitting service.

I've had emails and PMs from people asking about these kits and I've held back from replying untill I had a better idea of when things were going to be moving again. I will be contacting everybody who sent me messages over the next few days.

Rob, I’m interested in a full kit and will pick them up as I’m just down the road, I’ll PM you later.

By the way will you be selling “Rob Farmer Lighting Kit” Tee shirts?
;)

Nice one Rob:wave :hapybnce: :wave

Put me down for kit 3. Will give you a bell soon to sort out collection.

Cheers

Its good to see that its not just me that Hella cannot deliver to.

Anyway, well done Rob for getting it back up and running, I'm sure that it will prove succesful.

As for the T-shirt idea....how cool is that.

I can feel a caption competition coming on, what shall we have on them then?

I could always bring these over when I go and collect your seat for you ;)

you fit them and I´ll pay the flight (easy jet).

I´ll even go for a game of footy - cant promise who is playing though, but be quick the season is finishing!

I've had a lot of requests from people who aren't to confident with electrics but still want the Lighting kit. So after a discussion with somebody whos very well known on this site I would like to announce that Neil (Steptoe) is now the first official installer of Motoswitch Lighting kits. Neils a great bloke and certainly knows his way around a BMW, he also offers other bike related services as well as very cheap good quality spares for your GS if you need them.

How it works - At the moment you still order the lighting kits from me then if you do not feel too confident with tearing the heart out of your pride and joy (just joking) you can give Neil a call and he will book you in for an install, there is a charge for this service and I'm sure Neil will gladly give you a quote beforehand.

As soon as I can find other experienced people in different areas of the country willing to install the lighting kits I will post there names on this thread.

Many thanks to the people who have brought and ordered the Lighting kits.

A very attractive proposition and If I had half a clue I'd be right there - I wonder if the horse and cart fancy a jaunt in Barcelona and a trip to the Nou Camp

Gary "I can see clearly in the dark" Simon,

The Farmer Way,

This light kit is fantastic, made a huge difference to night time riding.

Fitted FF50's Fogs and Spots with the fogs on the indicator cancel switch via one of Rob's super dupa switches and the spots on the main beam.

Burns holes everywhere I go.

Top Class.

Gary.

"I liked the product so much I bought the company"

Without wishing to make a blatant plug here but, if you think the FF50's are good with the standard bulbs fitted, you should see how much better they are with 50% brighter bulbs in.

I'd like to order the above kit please (I'm too scared to go out in the dark at the moment).

Can you PM me with your details so I know where to send the cheque?

Cheers
