Hi yorkshire tossers,

About 5 years ago i swaped my 1150 adv for a 1200gs and about a week later met up with a group of Gs'ers at the McDonnalds near shipley/Kiethley, the one with the big petrol station as you head out of bradford towards skipton.
Anyway I digress...... we then set off about 10 GS'ers in total and did some excellent green lanes and metal roads over the settle area and dales.
One guy was on a red 1200 with TKC's on and his wife pillion, no fear was ouwtwardly vissable from either rider on pillion, and I saw him do some hard riding.
They where a good bunch but I went overseas shortly after and didnt use this site after that for years.

I found this an excellent way to run in a brand new 1200gs with only 250 miles on the clock, and the tourance tyres where 'interesting' in the mud and snow covered lanes.
anyway that is 5 bikes since and I was in the mind to do somthing similar this comming weekend the 5th 6th or 7th june.
anyone fancy it,,,,,, I'm not saying i know any of the routs but somebody must.

Not sure if he's still GSing, seen him on a few KTMs of late, but you can catch him over on Advrider if not on here.

So someone remembers the good old days,proberly dazzers ride outs.We still do the same thing,spouts right.Red GS12,cybil or daughter spanner on back,sounds like ya were at bottom of grass bank, lane up to old knocking house ( burnt down ) with colt,ya thought wifey would get of as we came to stream/gulley.f--k that,ya looked in awe as,i jumped of bank into stream,out up to hill top.Only to follow spout driving his old adventure hard through ruts,we came out with cybil bearhug,as bike was on back wheel.Ah memories.onyack
