Hello! My trusty Schuberth C3 pro needs replacing. I’ve tried a C5 but it’s not comfortable enough. Does anyone have any feedback on the Shoei Neotec 3 or BMW system 7 carbon please? Or any other flip - front helmet that they would recommend? Thanks!

The C5 does have different interior panels available to make it fit better/be more comfortable.

The Neotec 3 is excellent

Some shops are starting to do Shoei's personal fitting system if you are not a straight fit

I've taken the detachable chin curtain out of mine as it didn't have enough ventilation with it in place, it was too hot even in winter

Even without the chin curtain it's extremely quiet and comfortable

I find that the BMW helmets are the only ones that I find comfortable - so I would recommend that but unlike Wapping the Neotec does not fit my head

after being knocked off my gen3 hayabusa on the motorway at speed . my head was one of the first things to hit the road i was , instantly knocked out, and did suffer several injuries , never thought i would get back on a bike again after that , after a year i was riding again , i was wearing the c3 schuberth helmet , if it wasn.t for the schuberth i think i would have been a lot worse due to the extra strap that stops the helmet coming off you head on a big impact , i now have the c5 , very happy with it you can get the different size padding to suite you the best , everyone is different but i am sticking with the schuberth c5 , sometimes it takes a while to adjust to a new lid .good luck in what you choose just my thoughts

go over to https://thebikercompany.co.uk/collections/flip-up-helmets in Cheltenham - used to be a Helmet City franchise but now independent. Owner is a decent chap and will negotiate on price especially now as he won't want to carry stock over winter. Try the Nolan & Scorpion flips to see if they fit. Nolan has an integrated comms option. 5 other brands stocked including Schuberth & Shoei https://thebikercompany.co.uk/collections/flip-up-helmets
Thanks Wessie!

Yet, the BMW helmet does not fit me.

Funny old world.

I had an HJC flip front which gave me a headache even though it was the correct size.Bought an AGV Tourmodular and that fits a treat
