Advice please, I am happy with my current shoei lid but there is not enough space to fit the autocom earpiece:blast. Can anyone tell me what lids are good to fit the autocom too???

I've been using a Nolan N103 flip front with Autocom earpieces for a couple of years now. Works well for me on GPS input. Nolan already has ear cutouts for their own comms kit.

Shoei Multitec, Caberg Justissimo, Nolan N41, BMW System 6, BMW Enduro, Arai Tour X3 all had Autocom headsets fitted without problems.:thumb2

Helmet speakers

+1 for the Arai Tourx3.

It has a recess for the speakers which fit straight in, no alteration needed.

Works well:augie

System 6 I had to enlarge indentations in foam to ensure the speakers were in the best position for my ears. but they will fit with a bit of manipulation
As an aside, The mic has stopped working, appears a wire must have come loose in ther helmet lead just back from the main connector on the helmet loom. This connects the helmet to the bike lead. Speakers work but mic only works if you play with the lead just above the connector.
Had to repair a speasker wire myself recently as autocom couldnt provide a replacement connector - stated they do them differently now(one continous wire to the speaker), however, my older head set is like this. Its my most recent one that has little plastic connectors, however managed to repair with, heat shrink connectors.

An alternative is to remove the plastic shroud from the speakers this reduces their bulk considerably and/or remove the cheek pad covers and heat the back of a dessert spoon then use the back edge to make a small dent into the polystyrene to allow the speakers to be recessed in the indentation.
