I just lock mine in my top box
Good idea when two up as if you only have the vario side panniers, as I do, only the near side pannier will take a helmet.

Always leave my topbox empty and put both helmets in (Givi 52)

Oh............ for the olden days when BMW made proper GSA's....with well though out and useful additions like a helmet holder (Nutty thought it was an aftermarket accessory 
)
No need to remove the seat, just attach your helmet and away you go

I've just fitted one of these to my GSA. It's a bit fiddly to fit, but works very well. Obviously, it's better quality than the tat you'll find at the pound shop, but works very well.

Your bike has keyless but you have to take your seat off to lock your helmet... Nope not getting it.
As I'll typically stop/ start the bike about 20 times during a days ride out, and lock the helmet to it once or twice, what don't you understand? Or should BMW design a keyless lock?

I use the same - works well with both types of helmet fastener and is quick enough to use, if a little fiddly at first.

These used to be standard on most bikes. They only work with D ring type helmets though I presume?
