Double D ring the only Helmet fastener to have

I do agree - my NEXX XD1 is DD and I much prefer going back to that method after the Schubert C3 I had with the ratchet. I wonder if thats why bike manufacturers stopped adding the locks onto bikes though

Cost and Weight, no other reason for deleting them

I got one of these for less than £5 from my local ironmongers.
Fits through the D ring and either the pillion grab handle or the hand guards.
