I've a tour-x, just bought it a few months ago. Always owned arai and always liked them. Last one was a rather expensive rxx-7x or summat! £500 quite a few years back!
Likes and dislikes on the tour-x?
likes;
Undeniable safety record,looks, sun shade peak, overall quality (but not as good as older arai's) fit.
dislikes;
noisey as feck, draughty as feck, steams up loads when raining even with it being so draughty and with all vents open. (probably down to screen on the GS) although a pinlock insert has just been released.
Side wind will rip yer head off at any serious speed. Oh and it hurts like fook on me left ear after about an hour riding. I know it needs bedded in, but it hurts like crazy. Overall its a good helmet but not great! and it's pricey! If it was a cheap lid and had all these faults you would say its right shite! but noone wants to say that after spending nearly £300. Some people love em some hate em i'm still somewhere in the middle, jury still out so to speak. But it looks the biz on a GS there is no denying that!
Cheers
Ron
