Currently have an HJC i91 in plain white and want to get something else. Looking to get something else that's maybe a bit quieter and "different".

Anyone here use one of the following lids:

Arai Tour X5
Nexx X.WED3
Shoei Adv Hornet 06

Looking for any other suggestions similar to the above, would like an internal sun visor but not a deal breaker.

one that fits
with helmets, all you can do is go to a branch of Sportsbike Shop etc and get a bit sweaty trying on a gazillion helmets as was concluded in the recent thread on less peaky helmets
Arai do not have sun visors

Your head shape will determine what fits best, not the one with the most bling.
I have a rugby ball-shaped head, and use an Arai Tour x-5 for summer.

Like any arai, its well made, comfortable, and well designed. It took about ten minutes to fit a Sena unit.

Shoei Neotec 3……
I am looking for a new lid(off to Sportsbikeshop on a different matter today, but will look at helmets they have)Currently have a Neotec 2 with the built-in intercom, looked at the 3,but the price with the intercom is getting a bit silly.Cheapest I can find is £850,most sellers are up around 1K,not paying that for a lid.Me Neotec 2 has been faultless for the past 7 years, shame it's past its use by date.

There are deals at Helmetcity, Infinity and J & S. All Size and colours aren’t always available though @Burridge01

I paid similar price for Arai, it’s got my head in it so worth it. Plus no need for comms for me.

I tend to get me helmets from HelmetCity Tatsfield(will only be browsing in SBS)as the owner is a decent fella who will knock some money off the asking price,he also did the decent thing when me Schuberth went tits up,full refund and knocked a fair few quid of me Neotec 2(as I bought the intercom bundle)

Thanks all. I have the HJC i91 front flip helmet.

I'll be popping into SBS as the visor on my i91 doesn't stay up anymore, any wind and it just flops down (talking about the visor here) so will try on a X5, C5 (again) and some NEXX helmets, see what they are like.

As has been suggested. Neotec 3. I got mine at a 20% discount from sportsbikeshop. I don’t have any form of comms as I have no use for them.
Well made helmet that fits well and has the drop down sun visor that I really like.
Just to add, the lady at sportsbikeshop spent a long time changing the various padding in the helmet to get the best fit.

Tried it on mate, HJC fit me better.
I'd not write it off just yet... have you tried the PFS ? I could never get away with a Shoei previously, either too tight on the forehead or if I sized up it just wobbled about. I got a PFS done, ended up in an XL rather than an L and then the additional pads all went in and it now fits like a glo.... well, a helmet I guess! Most comfortable helmet I've had.

Found out today at SBS,they sell an adapter so I can fit me coms from me Neotec2 into a 3.Cost=£18(Only use the coms for me Tomtom)Now to find a 3 at a decent price.

My personal fitting service was at the Leeds shop. Very good service by the lady staff member.
A lady member also helped me there at Leeds, didn't mention the fitting one.
