Very interesting. Simpson don't seem to bother with export markets, never have, so I doubt we will see this for sale on our side of the pond.
It may not be a true alternative to a Tour X as it is a GS3 MX helmet with a screen attachment. Could be better for actual off road stuff but more of a problem at higher speeds.
Seems a lot cheaper though at $149 for the helmet and $100 for the screen and fixing gubbins. The screens cost $40 once the thing is set up for them.
I am not sure that the visor can open up fully to rest below the peak as the Arai does, difficult to tell but to me it looks doubtful.
