Help! 1100 R/W bearing play

Just had R1100RT MOT and tiny amount of play in rear wheel bearings. Bike done 37K.Going to Romania on it in August,will it last ,as manual says its a dealer job.Can do my own repairs (gearbox change last year).What do you think?

Do you mean play in the paralever bearings (which are adjustable if you don't leave them too long) or the bevel final drive output bearing.

Sorry play is in final drive .When rear wheel is gripped top and bottom play can just about be felt in diff.

That could still be paralever bearings. Try adjusting it before buying parts taking things apart.
