HELP AGAIN still no base map on quest

quick history replacement quest sent from garmin seems like it dosnt have a base map just picture of europe on show i have used the zoom all the way in and can get the town that i stay in but no streets i have re registerd the quest and mapsource with the new unlock codes what now will i have to wait and contact garmin on monday or is there something i have missed thanks

What your looking at is the base map, towns and the odd main road and outlines of countries.

You need to plug it in the pc and load the City Navigator mapping, which is more detailed, that came on a cd when you bought the Quest. To do this you need to use the Mapsource programme that also came on a cd with the unit.

thanks for the reply when i got the quest all maps were preinstalled so i will have to read up on how to install city navigator.
