Help - frozen Quest on tour

Crossing into Turkey tomorrow so loaded some mapping (non Garmin but always OK before) and started to delete previous routes on the unit. Managed to get rid of a couple then the unit froze except for the power OFF. Tried a restartand the three button reboot it but it is completely dead, even on mains power (does not even indicate a charging state)

Am considering watching the Utube vid on battery removal and trying that to see if it helps

Any other ideas?

Press the power on/off button and the "In" button at the same time for about 3 secs.
