As I've previously posted on here, on my last ride my R90S didn't want to change down from 4th or 5th gear without a lot of patience and coaxing. I'm in the process of stripping the transmission and found the first sign of a potential problem - please see attached picture of the ends of the 5th gear (left hand side) and 1st/2nd gear (right hand side) selector forks. The 5th gear fork has a notable notch on the top, unlike the other. This is the first time I've opened up a tranmission so I'm not sure if this is normal or possibly part of the problem. Please can anyone advise?
