depending where you need to remove it from, and on what computer or nav you are removing it from, the procedure will be a little different for each,
if removing from a nav sd card using a pc, plug in the nav with the card inserted go to the card and locate the osm file, and right click and delete.
if removing from a windows pc, ensure show hidden files is selected, go to your c drive locate program data folder open that then go to the folder called garmin, open that and then open the folder that says maps, and locate the osm map folder and delete it.

someone will be along to tell you how to do it on a mac.

Are you using a Mac or a PC?

On a Mac it's very easy; use Garmin's own MapManager. You'll see the OSM map set listed. From memory, right click on the map set and select delete. Job done.

One question, why do you want to remove the OSM maps? I seem to remember that if you install new OSM maps it will simply overwrite the OSM maps that were there before.

Leedude03: I've searched the NavV plus its attached SD card and cannot find the OSM map despite using terminal (Mac OSX Sierra) There is a hidden JCV folder with a .jcv file 405MB. Still hunting.
Wapping : Mapmanager will remove the OSM map on my Mac but does not reveal it on the NavV. Reason for wish to delete: not used, using valued space and I believe causing lockup issues.

The j cv folder is your junction view file, leave it alone. You will need to view the very root of the nav drive, if it's not on the sd card, make sure you have hidden files viewable, if there is nothing important on the sd card you could just re format it, but if you installed the osm map on the actual drive of the nav you will need to find it. I have very little knowledge of macs sorry. I will do a search for the info. Do a search on google for JaVaWa. And read through the guides thoroughly.

Thanks leedude03: I 've failed to find the OSM pap, but removing the SD card, removes the map. Card reformatted Job dons ta
