Hi,
I've bought a GSA from Belgium and need to get it registered, have booked MOT but!
Can anyone help ! I need to change my speedo to mph from km.
Is there a cheap and easy way to do this and is it possible to do myself?
Would appreciate any help
Dave

I bought that sticker when I imported my old GS from Spain years ago. When I went to the DVLA to re-register the bike they didn't even ask for it, but I had an invoice from a garage saying that it was applied. You do have to change the headlight though because the light goes the other way, I had to buy a new part altogether.

Where do you find out about the costs of these import changes please?

HMRC for the import duty & VAT, you will also need a "certificate of conformity" otherwise you will have to go through the
SVLA test for motorcycles. Without approval you can't get your V5 and therefore can't tax or register the bike. I brought a Bike back from Japan so I had to go down the SVLA route. Took less than 2 weeks from passing test to get the V5 which you need to get the reg plate made up.
