Why cant I use this site ? Can anyone send me some instructions ? I'm not too good on computers and need some advice.Every time I get on here its hit and miss as to whether I can get on the forum to post a thread,what am I doing wrong ?

While I'm on this time I would love someone to tell me if its possible to fit the longer beak (A La Adventure) to the standard beak of the GS and if so where would it be easiest to obtain one,Breakers etc ? And does anyone have ideas as to making the seat a bit more comfortable without spending a fortune ?

I don't know why you can't use this site, unless your trying to get at the 'subscribers' member sections? Typically the for sale and wanted section... been a while since I was only a user as opposed to a current subscriber, so things might have altered.

The black extenders are available from Touratech, Wunderlich and BMW (I could be wrong but I think the BM is the cheapest option?). The seat issue could be anything from a 1" nap sheepskin cover (alaskan butt pad... ) to the more usual airhawk cushion. I did hear about someone who uses padded cycling shorts.

You pays your money, you takes your choice.

For the seat, on long journeys (250/300 miles +) I always wear cycling shorts, the padding seems to be enough for me.

Most of your questions on the basic use of the forum should be answered if you click the faq button above the posts (faq=frequently asked questions) and have a read there.....

There's also a section called the 'font of all wisdom' where we have a lot of technical stuff, common problems and things like how to post pics etc.

As NRB says, there are some sections that you need to be a sponsor to be able to post in....and you can't use PM's or attach pics unless you're a sponsor as well.

To sponsor, click the 'sponsor' logo under anyone's avatar...it's only £12 and I suspect you'll find it well worth it
