Help needed fitting MRA screen

Hi,
I am looking for some information from anyone that fitted an MRA screen to their GS LC. I ordered a MRA screen and it just arrived.

I have taken the original screen off and am trying to swap the mountings over. However the holes in the MRA screen are a smaller diameter than those in the standard screen so the rubber grommets from the standard screen won't fit in the holes in the MRA screen. There were no grommets in the MRA pack.

So am I missing something or have I been sent the wrong screen? Did you have any problems fitting your screen? If so, how did you resolve them.

I have just fitted an MRA screen to my 2014 GSA.

The holes on the MRA were the same size as in the original screen but the grommets
were a little tricky to locate. I lubed them up with washing up liquid and they then
located straight away.

When I changed my BMW tinted screen from my 2013 GS LC to my 2015 GS LC I had to make the holes larger before I could fit the screen as it has been modified in production.

That's interesting, mines a 2014 LC, I wonder if I have been sent a 2013 screen. I will check my order.

Yeah for some reason, the screen holes are smaller on the '13 bikes. I got a second hand genuine BMW tinted screen for my GS and had to enlarge the holes so it fit my '15 . Sounds like you need to get it swapped over.

I've just fitted an MRA Vario on my 1200 gs lc and it was perfect. Easiest mod I've ever done. Had an MRA Vario on my Varadero and it was great and stopping buffeting for both rider and pillion. I hope it will be the same on my LC

I fit a MRA Vario screen to my 2016 GS and it fit perfectly without any mods required.
