There is a little history to this, it said on the box "Scrumpy". That was the first mistake, the second was try to find that long lost bit in the garage roof, the third was to loose me footing and fall out of the roof and land on the bike knocking it over. It hasn't worked right since.

Symptoms are:-

Starts easily but doesn't sound at all well. Pops and bangs like a good un.
Huge flat spot around 3k rpm, just like applying the brakes.
When past 5k seems to pull ok but nothing like it was.
Cannot seem to be able to balance the throttle bodies.

Things I've tried, the obvious, throttle cable seating. New fuel filter and associated seals. New sparkplugs. Checked all wiring I can. 4/5 attempts at balancing throttle bodies with Twinmax.

Before I bite the bullet and swap either the injectors or throttle bodies any ideas?

Too, according to the quack.

I shouldn't really,but.......:jes:jes

Sounds like you've dislodged or damaged something.
If twin spark, check for dodgy ht lead.
Is the TPS undamaged/plugged in OK?.
Try resetting the ECU.
F5 out for 10 secs, replace and slowly wind throttle open to max, twice with ignition on,motor not started.

Tried all of the above, no luck so I have just swapped over to my spare set of TB's. Brass screws were of course seized and wrecked the O ring on removal. No problem I had a pair of them as well. Set up the cables initially by feel, reset ECU again, thumbed the starter and .......................

Spot on
Quick tweak and away.
Just wait for the bruises to go and no one will know.
