Help with 17'' front wheel conversion fitment

Hi Chaps im Dave and as you all can see im a newbie to this site but not to the bmw bike clan at the mo i have a very modified k1200r and im just about to take delivery of a gs12 and would like to fit the 17'' wheel conversion why! because im a short ar5e and i really like the look of the bike once converted.

Now i have a pair of BST carbon wheels id like to fit these was for a k12r and have been on my own bike, the rear is universal so can be used on bikes with the drive on the opo-side as the spokes are not angled but straight so the rear is fine, however i need to know if the k1200r front wheel will fit a r1200s if so i know than it will fit a gs !

Ask the nice folks at Pidcocks, they have done several 17" conversions that I know of ....

Hi Ding Dong,

I have a set of R1200S rims(Black with tyre pressure monitors) which I fitted to my GS, I have now got a K1200S and unfortunately the front will not fit on the K Series.
