Help with current route

The shading bits are probably the individual map tiles, greying out.

Next time it happens can you take a picture or a short video of the screen, please. I meant to do it when I had the problem in the (tunnel free) Morvan. Garmin are asking me if I had one.

NAV issue

Hi Nutty,
I had this on my Nav IV,,, or something close,,, Check the settings and brightness level as the Nav 1V and V are linked to headlight sensor and as such when the lights come on dipped your nav darkens to match ambient light,, however I believe it can be done manually via settings ..also can you change the colour option in maps.. I think they are often named as different countries for some strange reason?,,hope it offers some help.. if not... I tried..

Please tell me how, as I've spent a lot of time looking through all the menus and have given up?

Never mind yer fecking menus ..... :rob There's more at stake here than your bloody holiday .... Like poking a fat finger in Mellors' eye and telling him to swivel FFS :rob

Nutty ..... Rich .... (Rich it's me .... Remember we met at Coopers ? You showed me your blue bike .... it looks ... well ... awesome ... ) I really (like really) need to you say that your sat nav is not faulty, and that's it's all linked to the ambient light and the auto head lights.

Can yer do that for me ..? Buddy? Please? Pretty please .... ?

(Be yer best mate ... I'll not call you an ink monitor any more .... ) :jaq
