Aggggh - it's been one of those nights......
I added a few strap securing lugs to the optional BM rack, all painted up & ready to fit this evening - spimples......
Apart from one of the stainless studs sjeared flush in the subframe......
Ok, I'll remove the upper rear cowl to assess the situation - ooh, it apears to be secured from underneath......
Oh, the rear fender needs removing to access the studs or whatever is securing the centre of the upper cowl......
BUT the lower rear fender won't come off as it seems to be atta hed to a central steel clip of some kind. I can get the lower cowl to move rearwards about 1/2" but not detach.
Please help, how are the lower & upper cowl attached?everything is soaking in plus gas, the garage floor is covered in muck, crap & oil.
Then there is the issue of drilling a stainless bolt out of alloy.......
Just taking a breather before I lose it altogether!
Cheers, Phil
