OK, I know it's a bit 'belt and braces' but I've received my H&B bars today to replace the snapped BMW ones I killed last sunday on my high speed 'off', and have also ordered the TT Cylinder Guards as I seriously trashed the LHS rocker cover (also received new today!)

Question that's just come to mind is - will the H&B bars AND the TT Cylinder Guards both fit on my 2004 1150GSA at the same time?!?!

Cripes! I hope so!

Does anyone know if they'll both fit?

Cheers!

Anders

If not i will consider buying your head guards!!

I'd be interested in knowing the answer to this one myself...

I've currently got the H&B engine and tank bars on my bike... and I'd love the go belt and braces with cylinder guards... but I fear the 1" gap at the end of each cylinder isn't going to be enough to squeeze the guards into!

:D If you find out please let me know!

The short answer is YES!

Hi all,

Just to complete this thread the answer is YES!

Today I fitted the new TT cylinder guards, and bingo the H&B bars fit alongside great!

OK, it's probably total overkill, but I think it actually looks quite cool:

Hope this is of hope to someone out there!

HB Bars.

Look very nice, how do these fit on to the bash plate? I had a pair of BMW adventure bars on my 1150 and following my own high speed prang Mr Ss prediction came to pass and the bike flipped over. This of course did for the screen and lights (painful £93 & £143 for both!) so get a stone gard at least
it will prevent stone damage. I see you've also got TT tank protectors as I have, unfortuantly the right hand one was left off after an earlier prang
and the tank got graunched. My ad. bars are still on the bike but somwhat distorted can you tell me do these HB bars bolt onto the adventure bash plate?.
many thanks,
dave gs.

Hiya,

Sorry to hear you've also suffered an 'off' lately.

The H&B bars have 4 fixing bolts:

1 up on the inside of the tank, using the bolt that extends the frame to the instrument panel,

1 at the rear of the cylinder - as per the BMW ones

1 using the top bolt of the foot hanger

1 infront of the engine to join one side of the bars with the othe side.

They're different in that they don't actually extend down to the bash plates.

Took about 30 mins in all.

Cheers,

A
