Here... start the HPN incontinence

You're probably right on the madness bit, but it's not about whether it's an airhead or what type of suspension it has etc......it's about a whole lot more than that....it's about soul :nenau

Madness or not, As I said on the other thread about that airhead in the German dealership.......given the choice of two sets of keys, one for the HPN airhead and the other for a brand new spankin 1200GSA, I would, quite genuinely, have ridden away on the big red bike :blast

I couldn't rationalise it for you, but some bikes just grab you and stir you :nenau

I dunno about soul but Ducati 900ss (1979).... yep! Laverda Jota 180 and 120....yep even my old tuned DR 600 had soul, but none of them had ten grands worth!!! Sorry if I offend anyone but a fridge has more soul than 1200GSA.

the market will decide if they are worth 10k ...infact a jota 180 in top condition maybe there soon . A bevel 750 sport :bounce1, soul a plenty...and a lot more than 10k . Look at the price of vincents and goldies.....velos are creeping up ..:roll ..a few years down the road a kalahari might be 20 grand:D strange thing this valuation.:1/10

that welder needs sacking

and why make it in 4 parts ?

Look at it perpendicular to the final drive flange, rather than the curve of the swingarm. And I presume that a fully welded mount is stronger than folded sheet metal for instance.
