Hibernate on XP?

This new computer is so f'cking noisy it's driving me mad. The manufacturers (Mesh) say it's OK and unfortunately most of the people who've heard it think it's normal for a 3.4 GHz processor and as it's in warranty for the next year I don't feel I can start changing fans etc.......

Anyway, I've been trying to set the hibernate function to come on after 20 minutes but when I try to save the settings I keep getting an error that "Indicates two revision levels are incompatible"

Any ideas?

It's usually a modem/network error message- odd you're getting it in this context.

What mobo, and bios version?

That may need updating.

I've no idea what bios or mobo I've got.
