shut down pc normally
came to it just now and it tries to start and gets as far as the win xp with the counter thing underneath
that stops and it looks like itll flick to home screen - but it doesnt and goes to the windows didnt start screen with the safe mode
last known config and start windaz normally thing - when it tries i get the boot from cd thingy in the top corner but it says invalid boot.ini
i do all them and it does the same thing
according to places you cant get the missing file without having an xp disc
i didnt get one when i bought this pc
anyone got an xp disc they can lend to get the recovery bit into mine please?
