Yesterday my box of goodies arrived from Bikevis.com.
HID for the low beam and Cree auxillary lights.
The cree lights went in very easy, control box sat in the ABS module area, wiring went in piece of cake, good instructions. Lights came with their own bracket which secure to the underside of mudguard fairing using bike own screws. Bloody bright good bit of kit.
Next up is the HID for the low beam.
Good instructions although not designed for the bike but still good.
Before ripping things about I tested the kit just to make sure.
Next in was the HID bulb, went in no probs. Then the problems(minor) started. I had to drill out the rear of the headlight dustcover then work out how to attach wires in a tidy fashion.
Mission accomplised. Ballast box next. Its quite large compared to others.
Did try and place it in the ABS bay but wires where a bit short
so one coke and lots of head scratching it was placed in the 'A' under the top yoke, where the front shock meets. The horn has been moved a over a bit to allow this.
Guess what, after all that it all works as intended.
Over the next few days we shall see if all is well or something goes tits up.
I did take a few pictures during install and after, as usual not even anywhere near to uploading!
