Just fitted HID to main and PIAA to high beam, great result on the main beam, much better light, still crap pattern, but a lot more illumination.

Can't really tell a lot of difference to the high beam (PIAA) from before (H1+30), but I think the main being so much brighter and whiter its influencing the lights when on high, you get good range and all the immediate road and sides are well lit.

Very pleased with results :thumb

Have taken a before and after pic to try to show the difference

Nice. Good to see it lights up some of the darker recesses at the side of your garage and the light is much whiter.

Which PID? Easy to fit? How much? etc....

Very easy to fit, spent more time tinkering and making covers for the FF50's which are attached to the high beam now.

Got them from HID's4U http://www.hids4u.co.uk/product_details.asp?id=12
The Pilot unit looked the best system yet as it's all in one unit and small, a lot of HID's have two units.
S/Steel and waterproof, one-year warrantee.

£124.99 delivered, ring first and get the UKGSER discount (£5)

Works very well in wet conditions, been out tonight for a quick wobble and it's trying to rain, the light cuts through the drizzle really well.

:D

Now I dont like to worry you........but in the bottom picture, is that a Darlek hiding behind the left hand side of the garage??
