H7 Anti Glare MK2 with Superior beam pattern compared to standard HIDs. Precise focus with the light source exactly aligned to replace the halogen bulb. More light on the road precisely to benefit the rider and minimizing glare for oncoming traffic.

What's the colour temperate of these and is it likely that they'll work with my existing 50 W ballast?

{Edit} I just saw the sticker on the cable - they're 6000K. So the only remaining issue is... {/Edit}

Thanks for the call, yes you spotted the 6000K :thumb2 and yes they will be fine with the 50 watt ballasts. Ill post a picture of the old and new together. But the Anti Glares have a heat resistant strip running both sides to angle the beam down and better quality glass and ceramics.

Any chance of a 'before and after' pic of the two bulbs in use and some measure of how the light pattern differs from normal HIDS?:thumb2

Will the bulb be ok to use with 35w ballast box ???,do you sell it as a package ballast/bulb in 35w-50w.cheers

Hi Bose,
I wouldent use a 55 Watt bulb with a 35 watt ballast while I have had them working in the workshop i dont reccomend that you use them that way. If you visit this page :- http://www.motorbikeadventures.co.uk/category.php?id_category=7 there is a range of packages that we do that will fit your bike. :thumb2

This looks to be my saviour, I was considering swapping back to standard to save the embarrasment that I feel as the nights get darker and the simply ridiculously bright HiD in my 12 starts to pee off more drivers.
On its lowest setting and flipped down in passenger mode, it still causes hands to rear view mirror situations.
Even worried enough about MOT that I wound the rear preload right up for the test!!
Will be trying one of these!:D

I tested a couple out on my recent MOT my GSA had her 3rd Birthday and the bike sailed through the MOT. Worth a try, i have seen these bulbs being sold by competitors for over £30 each so £18.99 makes them a worth while investment.

I remember having to take a needle file to the hole to get my 'normal' HID bulb in.....with this anti glare strip, I presume a little more filing will be necessary?

I have fitted both types of H7 into Dip & Main on my 1200 - they went straight in with no modification. The H7R has a much more distinct cut off and worth it for the Dipped beam.

Ture they should just slid in with no problems and as mentioned on other posts, :D They are only needed on Dip Beam and not on the 1150 ;) Will be at the NEC with some examples and some kits if anyone wants one, decided to take a few with me, so will have slimline and expedistion along with 1200GSA fog conversions. :thumb
