Yes and Yes although I only fit Les Wassall's kit which I find to be the best out there.
Lesser quality kit is unknown to me!

Last two sets I bought for the cars were H7Rs. Big improvement - accurate beam pattern. Bike still has the (apparently) irritating 6000k 50W glare variety. It does mean that they have seen me though!

At least its not a sports bike ridden (in daylight) on main beam so nobody can see a ferkin thing until he's gone by.

Cheers, that's the sort of answer I was afer. I never get flashed for dazzling oncoming traffic but I do notice cars I follow adjusting their mirrors even though the bulk of the beam pattern is below the level of the rear windcreen.
