anybody fitted a HID kit to 1150 gs that works ie the high beam is slow

High beam will be slow when cold. That is when you use it the first time. Once warmed up, it's quick to flick.

Hiya, just a Lee said. I have an external HID on one GSA and internal i.e. replacement headlight on the other - once they warm up after about 1 to 2 seconds its never an issue.

Have it on high beam, after the first flick onto high beam it is instantaneous, though penetration from the standard lense is poor.

Are there any cons with the internal replacement bulb? It seems a lot easier and cheaper than mounting another external.
