Ditto from me. I picked up a set for my 08 GSA from Les back in early June. It took around 4 hours to fit (mainly fiddling around with the spots). I then took off for an extended 30 country tour of Europe (11,000 miles, 3 months). I was mighty glad I fitted the HIDs before I went - they make a heck of a difference in being seen by other road users. Probably the best investment I've made to my bike.

I was in such a hurry when I left, I didn't get time to say thanks to you Les. The instructions were bang-on and everything fitted perfectly - so thanks! :beerjug:

what am I doing wrong?

the main beam HID seems to make no difference when lit! it is on, but seems just to light a little bit more at the side

the high beam is not the best on the GS but HiD makes a difference on dark roads, make sure the burner is seated correct incase it's out of line this will make a difference.

After all the good words on here, I too went ahead and ordered the full set from Les on Friday. A box full of goodies arrived next to my desk today :bounce1 Will be fitting them on Friday :thumb2 Thanks for your help so far Les :beerjug:

Ordered a full set from Les for my GSA. Arrived in next to no time. Spent about an hour fitting and delighted with result. Ballasts fitted to mounting bracket as well. An added bonus. :bounce1:bounce1

Thanks Les

Just fitted the full 4 light kit to my GSA. Fabulous paint peeling power, thanks Les.

Just finished fitting the 50watt H4 kit to the 650, and I must say the difference is astonishing, it literally turns night into day.

Ballast was a pain to mount (ended up using a brace of tiewraps and suspending it from the cage so it didnt rest on the reflector)

THANKS LES!

Hi Les,

I have a kit that I used on another bike that had a H4 lamp in it, would you be able to help me out with a H1 lamp so I can use the kit on the dip of the GS?

Cheers Nick.

Les

All the best

f800gs HID installer in Ireland

Les, pm'd you.

Anyone experience getting HID's and Fogs/Aux HID's fitted in Dublin?

Cheers

HID lights up the hedge

I've fitted Les's kit to my 1200GSA, all seemed to go in OK except I thought the beam (main and dip) was too high as I was getting flashed a lot. I removed the headlight pod to make sure it was located properly and I've adjusted it down and now dip seems fine - but, main beam although it looks to be at the right height does a cracking job of illuminating the nearside hedge:blast

Any ideas? Are there any other adjustments anywhere, or is there anything I could have done wrong on the install?

thanks,
