HID50.com exclusive

Just a quick thank you for the excellent service and fitting onto my F650gs Twin.

It was a pleasure to meet you Les, and get one of the kits fitted to my dipped beam. Canbus 35 I believe?

Got lots of advice and options to chose from.

Wanted to get something sorted before the winter riding season starts. Have a better presence on the roads now.

Bit Boring really !

Because its another Great review for Les's HID conversion. Dipped beam and pilot light, makes my main beam look like a candle.

Popped around this morning within 60 mins I was sorted. Top bloke ,huge knowledge and great advice.

What more could you ask

Sausage butty, cup of tea and a slice of cake for the journey home..........miserable b'stard he is :D

Ok, so he is careful, thorough, knowledgeable etc etc, but FFS you'd think a bit of pampering of the rider could also be included. Maybe he should get one of those motorway type massage chairs and a cocktail bar so the rider can relax and watch the master at work :D

Or I could give all my old pad locks and get them to sort a key, while they wait lol :)

Les do you have the new kits in yet that you mailed me about couple of weeks ago Please ? I can pop over later this week if you have any free slots ! Dave

Well an update a few weeks on. les had the vision (pun) to select a colour temp for the dip beam to match a future upgrade for 10W LED spots. Arrived two days after my request and fitted tonight.

I installed them on the bottom bars n my Adventure spec crashbars on a F650 Gs Twin. Apart from my total electophobia I managed to install them both myself.

Result , Stunning.

Thanks again Les you are a gent.
Its been said before , but I cannot recommend Les @HID too much. His support and simple wiring diagrams are superb.

Add me to the growing list of very satisfied customers that Les (of HID 50.com) has supplied quality kit to, accompanied by a tremendous service.

Les was very prompt to respond to my initial message seeking his advice on options for an HID upgrade. Prompt with the delivery and, more importantly, freely offered his vast experience (by telephone and email) when I needed guidance to ensure that I successfully fitted the units to the main, dip and auxiliary lights.

You would be wise to consider using Les if you are looking to make such an upgrade to HID.

He will provide you with top quality product at a GSer privilege price!!

Thanks Les!

HID-light works but lamp failure permanently displayed

Hi,
first I can't praise the HID light and also Les' support enough :beerjug:

I fitted the HID (for dip beam only) to my 2005 R1200GS about a year ago (I think). Ever since, on seldom occasions, after engine start when the self check was completed, the signal for a faulty front bulb came on. The light worked faultless even though and the error signal usually disappeared after few km.

I was on a weekend trip now. The above mentioned signal came up at every engine start and never cleared itself. The HID-light worked faultless. Would have been much worse the other way round :D

If someone could advice me where and for what I should look, I would be grateful :bow

Thanks in advance

R1150 GSA lights upgraded

Thanks Les for supplying the kit for both main and dipped headlights. Easy to fit and a huge improvement. These were always 100 mph bikes with 30 mph lights and that combination was never going to end well.

Only thing now - it never gets really dark up here this time of the year but I'm ready for those winter nights (in about two weeks time given the temperature today).

All the Best

Les, Can you supply me with one of these.

Mine is flickering an turn on and takes a while before it warms up enough to stop flickering. It's from a 6K kit.

How much?
