If anything was going to go wrong, it would have already, and would have been replaced. (at least a few times...3rd or 4th alt belt, 2nd starter motor, 3rd final drive bearing etc etc)
The engine will do another 100k as long as you keep up the oil changes
If it doesn't smoke, doesn't rattle where it oughtn't and the bloke is a middle aged mechanically competent bloke, the bike is at the right price and you like it, get it![]()

Just sold FJR so cash to spend!!
I paid a lot less for a 62K GS last year. Just surprised at how much some folks are asking for 1150s and 1200s at the moment. Maybe that's why a lot aren't moving.
I have however had to give it a lot of TLC to get it back on track. Why don't GS owners clean and maintain their bikes!
