Right then here's the rub. Where I live my bike will be nicked in 50 seconds flat. Where I work, you'd be hard pushed to get to my bike unless you were already expected by me. you would also have to get past guard dogs and security staff. You would also have to have the codes to get into the bike club where the bike is stored (Secured aircraft hangar) And according to Highway Insurance they want to charge me a much higher premium just because my bike is stored somewhere away from home, even though the likelihood of my bike getting nicked or damaged is slightly less than 1%.
I'm getting increasingly fecked off with Ripoff Britain....
Does anyone know of a bike insurer who wont try and screw me just because I want to keep my bike somewhere other than my home address, and at a place with a theft probability of less than 1%.
Licence held over 10 years.
5 years no claims
probably no more than 6000 miles a year.
