theres a lot of info about lowering the seat on GSs but i cant seem to find anything on a higher seat

being of the same stature as a yeti ie 6ft 7in tall

i think this would make life a little bit kinder to the ole knees on a long day in the saddle

so ideas on a post card please :D

You can put a bit of scrap ally (or PVC block in my case) under the front seat mounting points to raise if by about a centimetre or so. Helps more than you imagine, takes about 10 mins and costs nowt.

Corbins also feel higher, mainly cos they are a bit wider.

TT make a high seat version.

You can also lower the pegs, but not so great if you off-road.

Had the seat on my last 1150GSA modified by www.motorcycleseatworks.co.uk near Bradford. See photo which worked for me. They will make the seat any ht you want. :thumb

Looking to do the same with my 1200GSA and have bought cheap second seat off e bay which I will have modified so that I can keep the original seat for when I sell the bike.
