Hey up
I have at mo a HIGH front mudgard and I have taken the TKC's off the
r80GS bike and swapped for trail/road tyres. I cant make me mind up if I like the high mudguard with the road bias tyres
Then I thought a bit and I recon I have heard of someone fitting both mudguards
I would like to see a picture if anyone has
or I would like the opinions of the forum on what mudguard looks best
The road LOW one is definately going to work better in the wet and at speed
but having said that I did 104 on me GPS this week and it was steadier than me 1150
Tuther point - has anyone done some offroading with a LOW one and got the mudguard jammed with debris/mud
Thanks for any opinions offered :thumb2

here is a pic or two
I cant make me mind up
Might have a poll - or what do you think to it :augie

Tried it in mine, didn't like how it looked, only have the high one fitted now. While the lower guard might stop some of your front wheel spray hitting you, it doesn't do much to stop all the other road users crud from hitting you.

So
Nothing for a pair,in this game eh!!
Janet, my lovely wife said "it looks crap"
I think I will leave the low un on while I have road tyres on and maybe use the High one on "off" days
Thanks for your wise thoughts and opinions :clap
Could have attended a meet somewhere and been on the end of some snyde remarks

But I get that anyway !! :thumb2

I quite like the high one but the low one looks good

Results all added up and the missis has been consulted
High one is up in shed loft
Low one is on bike
Sorry if its seems daft but at least everyone that was thinking about it - will now know what its like done
Hope this helps someone later

Back to me shed :thumb2
Fitted Oxford Heated grips as well
Thanks Thunder :thumb2 lovely and warm hands :clap
Anyone can be uncomfy :rob

Used to trail ride my 100 with the low one.

Never got clogged up - (there's not that much mud in Derbyshire)

Must admit I like the low one unless the bike is set up for purely off road.
Funny isnt it, the 1100 looks fine with both but the 100 looks pants. All in the eye of the beholder.

And Proff, Thanks for that, love kev B Wilson.
