highway pegs ??

There'll no doubt be a ten page debate after my post,but beware that you can get done for 'failure to control' due to your feet not being at the gear and brake pedals with highway pegs (as opposed to forward controls).
I speak from the point of view of someone stopped for this very reason on my old Airhead (but let off with a stern verbal).

I've used highway pegs for years and never had a problem. I wasn't aware you could get done.

Will it stop me using them.?:D

What you've done is irrelevant.
I'd used mine for years too,prior to being stopped.
I'm just passing on a bit of information that may be of use to someone.
Some people have used untaxed,uninsured or non MOT'd vehicles for years and never had a problem either.

I'd have thought that they'd have a harder time making any charge of that kind that stick when the rider's on a modern GS with linked brakes where the rear is also applied by the front brake lever.
