Yup, I thought I was immune, appears not.

Young scrotes on push bike trying to box me in as I was going 20 through a residential area. Young lad appeared to take a photo of the front of my bike and when that happened, I opened it up and aggressively overtook lots of cars and got out of the situation quickly.

I was only 1/4 mile from home but I’m confident I was out of sight before I got home and quickly got the bike in the back garden and locked up.

Really put the wind up me and and I was pretty shaken up when I got home. A mixture of anger and adrenaline.

I do have chain/lock plus a disk lock and a Litelock is in the post but none of that is any use if they just kick you off the bike.

Going to research some trackers, it’s the only thing I can think of that would help in that situation.

Just wanted to vent. I work bloody hard for that bike and now Wife and I are childless at home, our whole middle aged life revolves round what we doing next on it. Can’t have anything nice

hypothetically speaking and depending how capable and angry you are, it could be argued that the would be assailants could have brought any weapon with them....? and once they're in a coma and the weapon is in their hand with their DNA on it the story reads abit differently....

You’d have to hope that the witnesses ‘disappeared’ too.

People would rather film it than help nowadays. Sad.

South Birmingham. Bike thefts a rife round here but seems scooters and 125’s are the primary target.

I was 2 up with wife on the back too which makes it more concerning.

yeah and if anyone asks you where going to get it valued... at the antique shop for insurance purposes

and kebabing the scrots, scrot was an accident... (that I feel would be an important thing to mention early and that you feel abit faint, they might offer you a cuppa and some biscuits) hmmm biscuits.....

or take a CO2 fire extinguisher.... nothing says hello like a blast of CO2 and a tonk round the head from a fire extinguisher....

unless of course you've stabbed'em with a narwhal tusk...

You need to think about what you can use to protect yourself.

You've had a wake up call which many don't.

Be prepared. And meet them if required with extreme violence.

How can you immobilise your bike if they stop you?

How can you immobilise theirs?

Actions on for fighting. What can you use? What are their weak points etc.

They are looking for a push over, but they are brazen and rehearsed so you need to be. The hit of adrenaline for you will be to your advantage and also disadvantage. They have done this before so will be more practised.

Don't wait until it happens again like everyone else.

Me personally. I'd like to see em dead at the end of a rope. Despise the smelly little cnuts.

But one thing is for sure. In that moment, you'll be totally alone, nobody will be there to help.

People will freeze and just gawp.

Small dry powder, longer throw than your deep heat, more permanent than C02

Apparently dry powder gets in the eyes, in the airways and remains as an identifier on clothing, hair etc. after the fact.
Oh, and actually more effective on most types of small fire on your bike or car.

Not that I’m actually recommending it you understand, that would be wrong!

Apparently dry powder gets in the eyes, in the airways and remains as an identifier on clothing, hair etc. after the fact.
Oh, and actually more effective on most types of small fire on your bike or car.

Not that I’m actually recommending it you understand, that would be wrong!

Oh yeh, totally wrong but I am worried that a small fire may erupt spontaneously on the bike at any moment, so some dry powder, always to hand, is an ideal choice.

oh mental note to self for future purchase dry powder extinguisher.... one with a pistol grip....handy for knocking in tent pegs.... would be a handy addition to my RAMS (risk assesstment and method statement....)

might mention to the dealer, that I smelt a very worrying hot electrical burning smell at the next service..... cos, well.... you know if it's noted down, me having it about the bike seems justified...
