Eh TB did you call him? If not had chance no problem just let us know or if you need someone else to arrange if you don't have the time :beerjug:
Sorry guys not had chance yet. Busy day at work.
By the looks of things I recon it be best to leave it to you chaps to get ya heads together.
Incidentally, after I started this post I did speak with G. He was confident that he could deal with the Euro 4 - he's had some in and was on top of it.
He offered be a returning customer rate.
I'll be making a trip pretty soon.

I'm going to get mine done but want to get the headers and zorst on first so will wait till I source them. I'm happy to make up a group but also returning customer.

I spoke to Geoff yesterday and had a good chat, I will phone him again in the morning and see if he can do anything for us, I will let you know what he says soonest.
At the end of the day he has a living to make so for me any type of discount would be a bonus.

I'm interested in getting the bike done, weekdays or a weekend, quick question to those that have had it done...... is it worth getting a couple of thousand miles on the bike first?

I asked the same question when I bought my last aircooled GSA from new. G's view was to get it done at the earliest opportunity and there's no benefit waiting. In fact as the engines run lean in factory condition, getting the fuelling corrrectly adjusted asap is a good thing. It was money well spent !

I count about 16 who are interested :thumb

Let's not squeeze the guy too much - £250 is a fair price. Also let's not make the group so big that we're there for 9 hours queuing behind one another. There are enough people for a few groups.

Surely a GB doesn't all have to be done on the same day?

Numbers/money is sorted up front and people arrange a suitable appointment time with the guy doing the map.

Little bit of goodwill/flexibility could send a lot of business in Hilltops direction..

I spoke with Geoff this morning:
Dates:
Sat 14th Jan (5 places)
Fri 17th Feb (2 morning & 4 afternoon)
Non-BMW £310 per bike
BMW £300 per bike
Returning customers -£50
If you're interested, let me know which of the 3 slots you want.
First come first served.
We may be able to allocate narrower slots to avoid hanging around. Deposit or payment direct to Geoff so I'm not out of pocket. Must know by Friday end of play.

Post Christmas money is tight as I just forked out for a car insurance too, but I was thinking around end of march beginning of April really. I might be changing over to GSA from GS.

Is there something that can be sorted out for that time. As above mentioned so people will be picking up theirs new bikes around march time so, sure there will be allot of interest.

Thanks

EV
