I will admit I was a little sceptical beforehand, but the before and after graphs were astounding. My hope was that the troughs in the torque and power curves, which I'd read about elsewhere, would be filled in, giving a smoother power delivery. On paper that was clearly demonstrated but we all know the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
On the journey home:
the vibration through the foot pegs and hand grips was almost absent.
The bike behaved in a much more spritely manner and felt like everything had I moved up an engine mode.
I tried to change from 5th to 6th a few times because I had acceleration in 6th that made me think I was in 5th.
Pickup was faster.
Slower riding round a town was smoother.
Fuel consumption was better, but I will let you know later how much it improved.
If you tell me I'm seeing what I hoped to see, then it's obvious you haven't tried a Hilltop session or you wouldn't say anything so daft.
More dates coming up in Feb Mar and Apr. PM me to let me know if your interested so you can get the same group discount.

R1200GSAPilot, thank you for organising it. A bunch of good folk and yes, a lot of information sharing. Geoff, a top bloke who knows his stuff.
On the tuning itself - there are racers for whom an increase in BHP and Torque values means more speed and acceleration. For people who like to ride long distances (like me and some of the folks who I met today), it is more to do with the smoothness of power delivery right through the range.
Coming out of Hilltop services, with a 30mph limit just beyond the high street - for the first time, 2st gear, 30mph, cruise control on (yeah, I do that, following slow but flowing traffic) - and I was amazed at the smooth power delivery. No surging at all. Absolutely consistent revvs.
Sprightly behaviour - the LC has always had a hidden hooligan inside it - and with the tuning, and with the GSAP, it brings out a bit more of the hooligan within it. There was a definite increase in power and torque values - but that is not what interests me. I wanted a better behaved bike and that is what I have now.
As R1200GSAPilot says - try it out for yourselves. If you have £300 allocated for this - go get it done. If you don't have £300 right now, and want to get it done - go save in your piggy. If you don't want to get it done - even then that is fine. Only if you are a daftineer, will you go all over the place with silly arguments without knowing a shite about it or experiencing it yourself.
I also have a new set of plugs (NGK LMAR9AI-8). I am sure replacing them will make things better - but more on that once I have replaced them.
