I had my 800 Tiger remapped at Geoff's last year and must say it goes very well above 4000 rpm. BUT I now find it has a bigger hole between 3 & 4K than it used to. Out of interest I've just fitted a cat eliminator plug to see what difference it made, it improves the hole.
Geoff's remaps start at around 3 -4 K so what happens below this? And as the narrow band 02 sensors are still in place they are controlling the low rpm/small throttle opening range which is used in town work where the 1190 feels lean. I guess I'll take my early 2013 1190 Adventure to Geoff's but like the bike I'm a little hesitant.
For info it has a Rottweiler air filter and I'm thinking of fitting there fuel Dongles (02 eliminators).
