Engine - it is the primary heat transfer method.
Installation - it is the secondary/ultimate heat transfer method.

Although heat transfer is via radiation to air, just that there are more effective/efficient ways of doing it.

Yes, the heat transference is via water or oil coolers (radiators) and hence by air.

My old mecheng lecturer was very particular and precise.
