Iv seen some real nicely cafe racerd CX500s yet standard look crap,plenty of the older stuff just needs better callipers to stop well & decent shocks then no reason why it won't handle

Wouldn't have it and don't really 'get it', but I do think it looks lovely

You can't fit better calipers to those forks you need to swap the front end and fit a handlebar mounted master cylinder in place of the cable operated under tank unit. Maybe you'd better wait until you know what your talking about before you start posting
