His and Her's textile suits for a GS

Rukka .... Good choice :thumb2

Thanks, the stuff does feel top quality. There was a VERY nice young lady that sorted SWMBO out on Sunday with her kit. They could get Rukka stuff but didn't carry any in stock anymore as they'd moved to a new premesis and didn't have room. She said there had been some problems with water pooling on the fabric and getting through, but this only occurred with 'larger' riders so I should be fine!

Glad you found some options that worked out for you. Euro rate pretty good right now too.

I really do try to give UK based companies business but sometimes the cost difference is just too big to ignore. I've also called into Bikerland whilst on tour and ridden home in new gear (they cheaply send what you were wearing home) and I'll probably be buying my next round of gear off them again.

Yes your post was a big help as fc didn't have any pro gorgex trousers other than the premium ones in my size and until I saw your post I was thinking I might be forced to have the z liner ones instead. The 2 together came in £450 cheaper than buying them in the uk which was just too much for me. If you consider their vat is as near the same as ours and the manufacturer comes from Finland I get the feeling someone's having a laugh with the prices in the uk.

They don't call the UK Treasure Island for nothing!

Yea, all too true. Great deal you got. Spend the savings on good times.

I wonder how much it is in Finland?

Here's a comparative price from Stockholm, Sweden. Price includes Swedish VAT (currently 25%). It's from a large mid-town dealership I have bought stuff from before. They advertise a price of SEK 10,000 for a top of the range Armas jacket. This is about GBP 760 or EUR 1,100 at today's rates of exchange.

An Armas jacket in the UK is about GBP 999 (Infinity) or about EUR 1,100 from Germany (moto.de). As you can see, the German price is near enough the same as the Swedish price, when converted from SEK into euro.

And yes..... Before anyone pipes up, I'm sure you bought your Armas for £28 plus change in Birmingham.
