Just been out for a ride and noticed when I got back that the rear shock hisses on the re-bound. I have a WP with the piggy back damper. Pretty sure this is a new noise- has been silent up until now. The only thing I’ve done is to play with the spring tension and both pre-loads whilst the wheel was off. I had to use a hammer and punch to tap the adjuster rings round- could I have broken a seal through the impact? I’m hoping I may be wrong and that this is normal? Any advice from suspension experts out there? (Paralever gs, 1988)

Speak to Denz0 on here. He's a suspension specialist. And he's good.

Pay your subs and PM him as I'm not sure how often he reads through the site.

Oh, and welcome to the forum. :thumby: (Airhead meet in June if you're interested)

Thanks. What a top guy DenzO is. So helpful on the phone and offering a great service. I will be using hi for a rear shock rebuild.
