Travel plan will depend on work committments nearer the time but hopefully will be able to join those leaving from Exeter Services :thumb2

I'll be at Junc 25 (Taunton) 30 mins after your arranged time in Exeter as I don't really want to add 70 miles to my journey :)

Yep, will more than likely be ok for me.....I'm also probably going up with a friend from South Zeal.....so I'll ask him if that will be about the time he was going to leave....:D :thumb2

A303

Trippy,
If they are meeting at Exeter, the best route is straight up the 303 from there !,
P.S
Are you still going to Rosedale on the Thursday ?,
I have to work Thursday but will be heading up early Friday Morning,
Gary & Tre

hi trippy, agree with gary the 303 looks like the route to take. do you want to meet somewhere around ilminster? how about the travel lodge at ilminster?:thumb2

Of course, yeah we'll be at Ilminster then.
Yep off to Rosedale but Adrian, Sid and I are going up Thursday (hopefully after my TT luggage has arrived) so we'll see you both up there.

That's the way we normally go......nicer road too.......:) :bounce1 :clap

The A30 is nice as well, a few towns and less traffic than the 303, and the road takes you straight to Andover after Salisbury as long as you don't turn off to follow the A30 to Stockbridge.

If i'm not rushing, then the A30 wins every time:thumb

With regret

:(
With the Conditions imposed about us using out motorhome being changed yet again, it is with GREAT regret we have cancelled our booking and will not be attending Hograost:tears
Being moved OUT of the field into carpark away from the merriment was the final straw:thedummy .
Going for rideouts with £25K's worth of motorhome in an unsecured carpark, out of site of the campfield and other people is untenable to us and our insurers:mad:

Barbara is as pissed off about it as me:thedummy if not more so, as she had a great time last year:angel meeting lots of mad but fun people..

We have now booked up for the East Midlands event and hope to see most of you there:thumb2

FFS Leave the van in the car park and put a tent up in the grounds if you feel you must have a location in the site itsself, its insured and if they won't cover you to be parked in a carpark then change you're insurers, cos thats why you pay the dosh every year. Or is this a :thedummy moment:nenau that dos'nt want to be sorted:confused:

Shep.
In January after a lot of behind the scenes PM', phonecalls and consultations it was agreed that motorhomes would not be allowed on the pitch BUT would be allowed on the hardstanding in front of the bar [where the beer lorries park and match officials park on match days]
I thought:thumb2 :thumb2 Perfect right in front of the bar and behind the marquee.

2 yes TWO hours after we booked and confirmed  Mr Bakerman comes and posts on the site >> http://www.ukgser.com/forums/showpost.php?p=1018662&postcount=1
moving us OUT of the field and into the carpark.

Myself personally, incognito, contacted the rugby club and asked about certain parking facilities....
It was confirmed to me that I WOULD have been allowed to park in the previously agreed [ jan2007]designated area [ in front of or beside Changing room/bar facility] if i was going to VIEW a Rugby match.
So I can't see why Bakerman moved the goalposts, but it IS his PRIVATE PARTY and HE can interpret, or Make any rules he wishes !!

I have to respect his wishes:rolleyes: and have therefore decided, FUCK HIM !!!

WE May turn up and park at a Camping site nearby and meet up for ride outs if thats acceptable......

TO BE CLEAR AND CONCISE.
I AM PISSED AT MISSING THE CHANCE TO PAY £100 FOR 2 PORK ROLLS AND 6 DOUGHNUTS.
WHY ?? BECAUSE YOU LOT ARE WORTH IT,:beerjug: FOR THE CRAIC:thumb2
Please feel free to rip me apart if you wish.....

Now, do anymore airheads need rescuing ???:)
:hide

No ripping apart intended, i just thought it a shame you wern't comming just because you couldn't park where you wanted.

See ya at GoC or Achill then:thumb2 that will take a bit of time to get there in the motorhome:aidan
